Job Description
Our Government Client is looking for a Program Administration, Intermediate level for a 25 week contract.
Duties:
- Assist Manager, Program Management and Learning (PM&L) Division in training/program/project administration, financial and administrative duties
- Plan and coordinate the contracting process for learning activities; research and forecast costs for goods and services associated with externally-provided learning services
- Provide administrative and logistical services in support of the Controlled Goods Learning Programs' activities (e.g. registration, training materials, classroom preparation, training facilities and equipment, travel arrangements, information management, compilation of post-course evaluations, statistical research support and reporting, etc.)
- Provide technical assistance and coaching to internal and external stakeholders using the WebEx Training Centre
- Extract, compile and maintain records from data collected in WebEx
- Manage the Designated Officials' web portal (e.g. user account and password administration, information management)
- Perform information management functions, including data entry, e-filing, faxing, scanning, photocopying and compiling statistics
- Assist in the coordination of training activities, the design and maintenance of databases and reporting systems, including web content and materials
- Assist the SCD&D in finding solutions to critical training and technical issues and in monitoring performance measurement through tracking mechanisms
- Apply related policies and directives, such as the Treasury Board policies to daily operational activities
Qualifications:
- Previous government experience is required
- Fluently Bilingual (English and French)
- Valid Secret security clearance
Education:
- Secondary school diploma is required
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in a relevant field, from a recognized post secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience is required
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is required
In addition to the minimum qualifications required by the classification (education and experience), the potential candidates must also demonstrate the following mandatory requirements:
- minimum (1) one year experience in providing client service and in resolving client complaints
- recent experience in preparing statistical and /or budget reports using a database and different software packages
- minimum (1) one year experience in the administration of training projects
- minimum (3) months recent* work experience with the Cisco WebEx Training Centre;(providing technical assistance and coaching to internal and external users)
- minimum (6) months recent* work experience in an industrial security sector or program
