Nature & Scope: Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for day-to-day operation of plant maintenance and engineering. Provides high-level management of portfolio of engineering projects to maintain and improve current facilities and equipment. Provides maintenance and engineering support to plant production actvities. Directs and supervises activites of assigned Engineerings and Maintenance Department Manager. In addition, is responsible for varying degrees of Project Management, Technical Leadership, Production Support, Capital & Cost Reduction, and People Development.

Requirements & Qualifications: BS Degree Engineering - Mechanical or Electrical. 10+ years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably a 24/7 operation. Strong supervisory/managerial skills of people, projects, operations, etc. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) for successful interaction across multiple internal departments, and with a broad range of personnel. Experience in a union environment. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and juggle multiple responsibilities, projects, duties, deadlines simultaneously.

Specs & Details: Direct Hire. 75 - 85K, depending on experience. 1st-shift. Comprehensive benefits package, relocation included. Corning, NY location.
