Job summary:

For a long term project for international bank related to reengineering of bank credit risk system we are looking for strong and experienced Software Engineer who will be responsible for:

- Provide third level of production support for Norkom applications (60%)
- Develop Compliance applications based on Norkom platform (40%)
- Report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to 3rd party platform vendor

Essential skills:

- Good knowledge of Java (J2EE/J2SE)
- Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle)
- Unix scripting skills
- Hands on experience in designing and implementing solutions in a financial industry
- Willingness to learn new technologies (e.g. Norkom)

Another important:

- Very good presentation, interpersonal skills with a strong desire to achieve specified goals
- Very good communication in English, both verbal and written
- Team player, open mind, proactive, communication with business users, loyalty
- Stress-resistant personality

Optional skills:

- Knowledge of Norkom platform is a big advantage
- Prior experience in a production environment support role would be a plus
