Job Description

The Sage Group is looking for a Partner Marketing/Customer Reference Manager for a leading cloud computing company in Palo Alto, CA. This individual will be responsible for working with the SMB partner segment to develop a robust portfolio of customer references to boost sales and help articulate the journey toward cloud computing.

 

Responsibilities Include:

-Work closely with sales teams, the channel marketing organization and channel partners to identify customer references to grow a reference pipeline.

-Help to maintain a customer reference program for the global SMB segment, securing customer references and developing plans for engaging customers based on their ability to establish confidence in the company and its products, articulate a vision for cloud computing, and position the company as industry thought leaders.

-Collaborate with Sales, Partner Marketing, and channel partners to understand the market landscape, sales opportunities, product offerings and differentiators, messages, and competitive landscape.

-Coordinate and document peer references, RFP references, press/analyst references, case studies, solution overviews/sales talking points, videos, logo use etc.

-Manage the development of reference materials; identify key customer stories, prepare writers, engage customers in the interview and review process, ensure that the content is structured to influence customers’ decision making process and focuses on countering common customer objections and competitive scenarios.

-Evangelize the Customer Reference Program with customers, Sales and Product Marketing teams to increase awareness and establish champions.

 

Skills Required:

-3+ years of global partner marketing experience, including experience developing customer references materials at a tech company

-Prior experience with inside or outside sales with the ability to call leads as needed

-Strong project management and multitasking skills

-Must be highly collaborative with excellent communication skills to build strong relationships across the organization and with external customers

-Ability to garner support for new ideas and initiatives

-Must be a creative problem solver and comfortable with ambiguity

 

Skills Preferred:

-Prior experience in or knowledge of the healthcare industry
