Our client is looking for a systems engineer/administrator for an initial six month contract with the possibility of an extension. This position will support our our clients CA office so the appropriate candidate must be willing to work until 8:00 pm in the evenings onsite in Portsmouth. Hours would be 11:30 – 8:00 . Position Summary: Windows Server administration, SQL Server maintenance, custom application support including configuration and deployment, development team support and some external client support. To be considered for this role, the appropriate candidate will have: Windows Server 2003 administration, SQL Server 2005 administration, IIS administration, web application experience, and vbscript. Beneficial experience would be: Windows Server 2008 administration, SQL Server 2008 administration/maintenance, and network management.
