Title: - Altiris Server Administrator - Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: - 6 Months plus


We are looking for an Altiris Server Administrator for our client in burgh, PA for a long term engagement.

The Altiris Administrator is responsible for managing and providing the overall vision of the Altiris infrastructure. Provide best usage of Altiris components. Develop, test and maintain standard software images, software deployment and patch packages.

• Must have good administrative experience on Altiris 6.5 and 7.1
• Maintain and patch the Altiris environment 
• Establish, document and communicate methods/processes for testing, loading and configuring software. 
• Responsible for the overall use and operation of the Altiris environment. 
• Collaborates with team, vendors, and consultants to determine strategy and plan for system implementations and upgrades. 
• Customizing Altiris reports with direct SQL queries. 
• Troubleshoot all aspects of Altiris effectively and understand the product patch management, software distribution and logging in detail. 
• Work closely with the various business units to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software packages.
