Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for SAP Sales and Distribution functionality and configuration ? providing support as a subject matter expert. Responsibility for SAP Materials Management and Logistics Execution functionality and configuration.
Supports business process improvement, and change management activities in a global enterprise utilizing SAP SD/MM/WM.
Coordinates with Super Users and with second and third level technical support to provide problem resolution and implementation of configuration changes and enhancements to SAP.
Act as internal consultant, providing guidance on SAP Sales and Distribution business processes, continuous improvement and support.
Complete familiarity with the global design and utilization of SAP SD including European and sale affiliate specific requirements.
Author functional specifications for the development of ABAP, BI/BW functions and reports to meet customer business requirements.
Actively engages the business to understand opportunities, builds strong partnerships in support of business and IT strategic plan and roadmap development, and ensures alignment of initiatives with organization objectives.
Supports business process improvement, and change management activities in a global enterprise utilizing SAP.
Supports key integration points to MM, WM, FI, CO, and QM
Supports key interfaces to 3rd party CRM, Contract Management, and Logistics provider/systems.
Qualifications
BS degree in a computer-based discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent combination.
Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience preferred.
5+ years experience with related SAP Modules (SD/MM).
SAP or industry functional certifications a plus.
Detailed knowledge of systems and business processes within SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, PP, SD)
Ability to perform hands on configuration in Supply Chain Management including integration points to Purchasing, Planning, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, Logistics and Finance.

Highly responsive professional with the ability to build confidence and trust with colleagues and internal customers in a multi-cultural environment.
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
Working knowledge of project management practices and methodology's.
Ability to write highly detailed functional specifications for outputs and new custom functionality in the SCM area.
Cross-functional expertise and solid understanding of SAP Basis, ABAP, and BI.
