The Director of Nursing manages a nursing staff of approximately 100 nurses with about 10 direct reports for a small hospital. The DON needs to be a critical thinker, quick thinker, and a strong manager. This person will ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services with company?s goals and objectives., and will actively participate in a leadership role by consulting with management in designing and providing total patient care and services.

Education: Master's Degree in psychiatric nursing or related field .
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years experience in nursing administration and/or dedicated
leadership experience in psychiatric nursing.
Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Oregon.

Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission , CMS, OSHA regulations and all other state and federal regulatory standards.
