Financial Transaction Specialist
Our Financial Services client is looking for a strong Financial Transaction Specialist. Position is contract to hire and pays 19.25/hr.
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: The Financial Transactions Specialist (FTS) is an experienced Finance/Accounting professional who is proficient with QuickBooks® and trust accounting software. The FTS is responsible for the Accounting Department’s direction and performs a variety of routine and complex time-sensitive account administration and financial support functions related to self-directed Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) including, but not limited to, verifying assets and transaction activity on file; processing daily deposits from fee income; posting incoming/outgoing wires and checks; collection of past due account receivables and renewal fees; oversight of all funds paid to facilitate client financial transactions; reconciling and balancing daily deposits from trust software and credit card merchants to master trust bank account. This position requires a demonstrated leader who is a dependable, detail-oriented, analytic problem-solver. Highly self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills, the FTS is able to effectively multi-task a multitude of daily deadlines while working with a spirit of excellence and accountability for achieving results. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or a minimum of 5 years hands-on Bookkeeping experience in financial services required.
