Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
The Manager of FP&A is responsible for financial planning and forecasting oversight, ad hoc analysis and reporting in an exciting late stage start up company. The focus of the position is on the analytics and will require the creation of value-added reports, detailed financial models and metrics. This position supports forecast process, long-range business model, company KPI analysis, product line profitability, planning software implementation. Work directly with multi-functional groups on modeling and analysis projects. Assess opportunities and risks and recommend action plans to senior management.
Contributor and participant with department heads and executive management for establishing the company's financial plans including new and existing business.
Consolidate forecast results and prepare 5-year business model including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
Drive budgeting/forecasting processes to industry best practices.
Assist senior management team in developing KPIs for the company.
Evaluate the financial and strategic impact of new business opportunities including business development strategies, new product and service offerings, large customer proposals, and sales and marketing plans.
Develops detailed reports and summaries to analyze and describe financial activity and assists line management in interpreting results as well as predicting future activity.
Develops complex spreadsheet models used in financial and business analysis. Independently analyzes complex data to identify relevant information, develop key takeaways, and make required
recommendations.
Candidates must have an advanced degree and credentials, at least five years of transaction services experience combined with at least 2 years of corporate finance in a mid cap company; in-depth practical knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies; ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information. Extensive modeling experience required.
