Summary/Day to Day Duties:

• Project Architecture of  the MicroStrategy  and EDW components
•  Participate in the design, build, release and deployment procedure
• Ownership of projects and responsible for deliverables
• Maintain ongoing functionality of MicroStrategy software and hardware environments
• Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation
• Coordinate and perform data quality validation on new and existing reports
• Participate in requirements gathering and design for ongoing development projects    
• Participate with team members to ensure business intelligence architecture that enables effective fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis

  Experience:

• 5+ years total DW/BI experience
• 2-4+ years experience as a MicroStrategy Developer
• Developed and maintained reporting solutions for large applications
• Experience deploying MicroStrategy Reports, Dashboards and Scorecards in a robust Business Intelligence environment
• Proficient with SQL
• Hands-on development with MicroStrategy version 9 is required
• Data Model experience and familiar with Data Warehousing techniques.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI Suites
• Business Analysis & Requirements gathering background
• Worked in structured SDLC & Project Management environment including: Waterfall, Agile, RAD, etc.
• Experience with iterative (agile) report development, including mockups, prototypes and demonstrations to Users
• Experience with NarrowCast
