Our client is a Fortune 200 company based in Arizona, United States of America. You will be working under the direct leadership of our client in a dedicated facility, with the option of occasional on-site travel.

The Senior SharePoint Developer will be looking at the business and technical requirements, creating technical documentation and carrying out development in SharePoint 2010. The following skills and qualities are required from the Senior SharePoint developer:  

• Proficiency with SharePoint 2010/WSS and MOSS 2007 technologies including custom web part development, custom field types, event development, site definitions and features and business data catalog development.
• Experience with feature based deployments and farm-level architecture and development.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint 2010 installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Build a deep technical understanding of how the business operates – departmental structure, functions, processes, procedures and current application functionality
• Work in partnership with key business users, identify potential ways of improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of current business operations
• Development of specified solutions in accordance with approved specifications
• Adhere to established standards and procedures (SDLC), including configuration management, coding, testing and documentation standards
• Ongoing maintenance of systems technical documentation & existing systems
• Preparation of user documentation
• Deployment planning, testing and execution
• Ensure that business change requirements of project implementation are highlighted to all stakeholders
• Assisting the business with change management planning and implementation

 Qualifications / Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of Enterprise farm-level SharePoint development and the following:

• Expert-level knowledge of SharePoint 2010 site design features, reports, and workflow design.
• Deep understanding in administration, configuration, and customization of Microsoft MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0.
• Experience in implementation of SharePoint Collaboration tools (forums, issues lists, etc.)
• Experience with customization of WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 site templates and development of new templates
• Implementing best practices in SharePoint site collection and feature deployment.
• Familiarity with SharePoint migration tools.
• Performing hands on development of custom applications, web parts and design of forms to support complex workflows.
• Design and customization and creation of sites, libraries and lists.

• The ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team providing direction and mentorship to others as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Technology (MBA preferred)
• Ability to travel as business needs require 
• Demonstrated project discipline and experience. Must be organized, focused, and driven toward established deliverable dates. Must be able to design solutions and form/drive related plans.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing is required.
• Having been on-site in USA would be an added bonus.

Additional 

• Knowledge of Web based development standards / services and networking techniques
• 3+ years of functional and hands-on knowledge of:
• .NET 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0
• HTML, CSS, C#, XML, VBScript, Classic ASP, ASP.NET and JavaScript
• Server database, stored procedures, triggers, DTS, schema design
• Strong object-oriented programming and design skills (Java, C++, Obj-C).
• Experience using and building web UI frameworks
  • Proficient with Visual Studio TFS 2010 development environment and tools
    • Reporting to Operations Director

Working Hours – 12.30pm to 9.30pm with a 1 hour break
