Create layouts of proposed designs.

Perform engineering analysis to develop solutions involving basic structures, power, and performance.

Assure that designs are functional, safe, reliable, serviceable, manufacturable, cost effective, and aesthetically and ergonomically correct.

Monitor prototype creation by ordering parts, requesting specific testing, assisting in building, and reviewing test results to ensure proper functioning.

Requirements:

4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering

3 years experience

Experience in designing fabrications, sheetmetal, weldments, component parts and machine design.

Must have 3-D, CADD  (prefer Unigraphics) GD&T and drawing standards.
