My client is looking for a cognos developer for 6 month contract based in Dublin 

Position Requirements
The successful candidate will have;

• Minimum of 5 years experience of developing COGNOS solutions and have a proven track record in delivering multiple successful Business Implementations 

• • Business Intelligence reporting (Cognos BI8, Business Objects) 

• Data Integration/ETL (Genio, OTIC, IBM Data Stage) 

• Experience in design, development and deployment of relational and multidimensional data marts, strategic reports and dashboards. 

• Strong SQL skills 

• Development of requirements specifications 

• Data Analyst / Data Quality 

• Strong problem-solving skills related to data issues 

• Interpretation and mapping of complex finance data. 

• Design and execution of test scenarios 

• Adaptability and flexibility to operate in a dynamic, challenging, and exciting environment 

• Strong personal drive, delivering a high level of professionalism 

Knowledge of II6/Apache a distinct advantage
