This C#.Net Developer position is with a global leader developing enteprise scale mobile solutions for some of the worlds largest freight and logistics providers.
This company has one of Christchurch's longest established software development centres with world-class Freight and Logistics solutions already powering over 60,000 users in the global market. They are needing a Senior Developer to assist in pushing their product roadmap onwards. Responsibilities
- Developing enterprise scale applications for both Web and the Microsoft Compact Framework, working to agreed specifications and quality standards.
- Maintaining close working relationships with the Development Team Lead, other Development Team Members, Test Analysts, Business Analysts and Project Manager.
Skills and Experience
You will need at least 5 years professional experience in a web or mobile development role with the following core skills:
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4
- C# and ASP.NET MVC 3
- SQL 2005 and upwards
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
Other desirable attributes:
- Agile lifecycle experience (eg Scrum)
- Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to your work
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability to bring creativity and new ideas to the job
- Proactive, confident and thorough work ethic
