Job Description
A large software manufacturer in the Data/IT service management space is in need of a Sales Specialist to help to close deals and find new opportunities for revenue in large strategic named accounts and high potential new accounts for this company’s suite of Service Assurance/ APM software.
What I can tell you about the position is:
- The base should be at or above $110K with target earnings in the mid to high $200k’s.
- 70 % of Sales Specialist exceeded quota in FY ‘11.
- 1 out of 2 made $300k+ and 1 out of 4 made $500k+.
- This position has you selling into enterprise-level companies within the Ohio Valley (OH, WV, VA, MD, DC).
- Remote position, candidates can be located in any state in the given territory.
- The Application Assurance market grew by 35% in North America FY ’11.
Priority will be given to candidates who posess the following skills:
- 5+ years selling ITSM or Application Management solutions
- Enterprise sales experience
- Hunter mentality
- Proven record of quota achievement
