Consulting engagement at a large organization in the Healthcare service industry.

Upp is now seeking a:

Business Data Analyst to collaborate with the data warehouse development team to ensure user requirements and issues are being addressed while controlling scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify source systems and the data required in the data warehouse environment to meet the current and future needs. 
• Lead the preparation of data warehouse requirements documentation and perform data mapping tasks.
• Create and communicate business and technical/functional requirements at a detailed level including specific table and field level transformation rules. 
• Provide assistance concerning the resolution of business and technical problems and effectively communicate information and developments to the appropriate staff.

EXPERIENCE:

• Employing ETL processing methods, underlying data warehouse data models, security and capabilities of the front-end delivery products.
• Utilizing SQL and SQL query tools such as Crystal Reports.
• Working in a data warehouse environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
