A leading e-commerce vendor with a strong presence in Europe is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to strengthen their team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting of partners and customers
• Working at company office and on-site at customer premises
• Providing in depth knowledge of the platform and components developed
• Customer requirements management
• Co-operation with the partners in the fields of conceptual design and implementation of the e-business platform software solution
• Carrying out Proof of Concepts (PoC) / Start-up workshops
• Technical Solution reviews

In order to be successful in the position, these are the desired requirements:

• Field knowledge and experience in e-commerce and product information management (PIM)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Java, JEE and related technologies
• Experience in front end technologies like UML, Software Architecture Design
  
• At least 3 years customer facing experience, preferably working with business users
• Experience working in international projects
• Previous experience in a team lead / project management position within a development environment
• Excellent English (verbal and written)
• German skills (Bonus)
  
• University Degree in Computer Sciences
• Self starter, open personality and a strong desire to learn
• Willing to travel

This is a permanent position based in HK with some travel involved.
