The Client

My client is a Global Professional Services company, in the top 10 in the world in their field. They are looking for a Regional Infrastructure Analyst to support impressive growth across the Asia Pacific region. The Regional Infrastructure Specialist will assist with ensuring the operation of all systems infrastructure, voice and data networks, data centre operations, server and desktop platforms for the regional hub and assigned managed spoke offices across the region.

The Role

They will manage support, operation and implementation of infrastructure and upgrades; implement the infrastructure roadmap and recommend changes to it to meet capacity and business needs and to resolve incidents and problems across all assigned regional offices. They will maintain and improve reliability, availability, confidentiality, and integrity and security control over the businesses infrastructure systems. The technical responsibilities of the Regional Infrastructure Specialist will include support (level 2 & 3), of all platforms including servers, desktops, network (voice and data) and associated systems, storage & storage area networks, data centres, operations, security, DR process and procedures, DR testing and enterprise systems.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a similar role with expert knowledge in Storage technology (Tiring Storage) SAN, NAS. Working experience with VMWare and Citrix environment is essential. You will need excellent knowledge of infrastructure services, networks and peripheral equipment, excellent knowledge of Microsoft back office systems such as Exchange, windows 2000/2003/2008, and SQL as well as a good understanding of TCP/IP networks. Knowledge of ITIL is also key. They will need the ability to work as a team member to bring value to the team with good skills in procedure development and implementation.
