Coordinates a team or programmer analyst in the analysis, design, development, training, implementation, and maintenance for all custom software development including file server based database applications, client server based applications, and intranet/web based applications.

Design, develop, implement, and integrate information systems solutions including determination of hardware, software, and network environment to support the business operations; design, develop, enhance and support software for troubleshooting, automated diagnosis and testing of communication networks using C/C++, Java, Solaris, ClearCase, CVS, Unix, and Oracle or DB2; design, develop and implement large multi-tier telecommunication software applications using VoIP, Private IP and TDM technologies.
Work on customer initiated testing, solve production issues and complete new coding tasks; work across IT teams with users for requirements and testing of FiOS, DSL, and VoIP products and services; work on configuration management for projects; develop and maintain CLR web applications; develop schedules to ensure timely completion of project and identify the appropriate resources needed; make recommendations that aid in the successful completion of initiatives within a functional area.
Experience to include therein designing, developing and implementing multi-tier telecommunication software applications using VoIP, Private IP and TDM technologies.
Bachelors or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or Computer Science followed by 5 years of progressive experience designing, developing, enhancing and supporting software using C/C++, Java, Solaris, ClearCase, CVS, Unix, and Oracle or DB2.
