Job Title : Embedded Linux Software Developer

Job Details:
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
• Our Client is seeking an experienced Embedded Linux Software Developer to join the Software Development Team. The key responsibilities include developing drivers, libraries, and applications for the secure mobile arena.
• The role is to work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment. This successful candidate will work within a multi-functional team to deliver applications that meet government needs.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree
• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Linux experience
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract

Specific Knowledge/Skills:
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract
• experience in embedded Android software development is a plus.
• 2+ years experience with embedded Linux system and driver development
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, EE or a related field.
• The individual must have applicable industry experience in application and systems development, preferably in a mobile environment.
• A successful candidate shall be capable of contributions with high quality at all levels of the Android Software Stack.
• Strong background in Embedded C development
• Strong background in ARM and industry standard SOCs
• Background in Java, OOP development
• Knowledge of wireless network protocols
• Knowledge of VoIP, Cryptography and Networking Security Protocols a plus
• Clearcase experience desirable
