Our client is a global company within the payment processing industry that is currently expending globally and nationally.
Role: VP of Sales
Location: THIS IS A WORK FROM HOME OFFICE opportunity. Will hire in any State. Travel on a national level
Oversee and manage the direct sales of an assigned group of sales executives in an effort to generate revenue in the restaurant market for the company. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase merchant base and revenue in the restaurant market. Analyze the market to determine potential areas for growth. Oversee the management of the restaurant/retail team and assist staff with sales strategies and territory planning to ensure that sales objectives are met and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Assist sales executives in obtaining large merchant accounts by attending customer meetings and providing guidance in negotiation. Work with sales executives to identify additional product and service needs (new or enhanced) to support the sales channels. Monitor sales performance to sales forecast and work with sales executives to implement adjustments to sales plans. Keep abreast of new products, services, and other significant industry information. Review competitive activity and develop new methods of attaining new accounts.
Provide strategic direction and determine appropriate arrangement of staff to meet goals and objectives.
Work with other company departments to ensure effective and efficient customer support.
Bachelor degree required; Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years experience in sales, including management, market analysis, contract negotiations, proposals, and presentations. Must have prior experience building new sales teams.
Transaction processing experience required; with concentration on restaurant/retail markets preferred.
Excellent knowledge of available industry products and services.
