Australia-LIMS-Project/Business Leader for LIMS (Laboratory Information Management).

     This role will involve business development, a mix of project and account management

-Business Development, Account Management experience and estimation capabilities with project management.  Ability to size/sell engagements and staff projects with top tier professionals.
-Good relationship skills and the ability to work with our global LIMS team
-Possess knowledge of requirement gathering functionality of LIMS implementations
-Functional and design specification awareness of the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Minerals Industries
-Good documentation skills regarding knowledge transfer of LIMS systems and customer
-Knowledge of proprietary languages unique to LIMS vendors preferably Thermo VGL, C# and .Net programming
-Instrument Integration knowledge, Instrument parsing directly into LIMS Yukon, Integration Manager IM

-Willing to train and build team with entry level and junior level resources  
-Capable of working on small or large based projects adjusting to business needs and project success
-Chromatography LIMS integration capability knowledge of LIMS to CDS interface a plus
-Successful relationships with Thermo customers and internal resources
-Knowledge of Sample Manager versions 3.2 and beyond
-Knowledge of legacy based OS environment, Microsoft clustering and Microsoft operating systems
-Knowledge of Unix environments a plus
-Capable of providing world class LIMS solutions and new technology deployment
-LIMS SLA based implementations environments a plus
-Knowledge of external interfaces (SAP, IP21, etc ...) a plus.
-Knowledge of Statistical Quality Control (SQC) a plus.

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
-15 or more years of experience in a client-server environment
-10 or more years of experience in Thermo Fisher Laboratory Information management System LIMS (ver 6.0)
-Experience in Instrument Integration (parsing instrument data, automation of instrument data directly into LIMS)  
-Experience working with complex system implementations, organizational processes and “C” level execs
-Experience working with large teams supporting both project and support structure for LIMS environments
