620 - Java Production Support

Location: Owings Mills MD

Duration: 6 months

This position provides production support for the firm's 90 Investment Retail External applications including the external Retail website, Account Access, New Account Setup applications, Mobile, and Fundbook.

These applications are complex in nature with many business rules and interfacing applications.

They also cover a vast array of technologies (Websphere, J2EE, Java, Flex, MQ Series, Lazslo)

The primary purpose of this position is to provide expert response to production issues and maintain existing service levels for client’s Investment Retail Applications.

A successful candidate will apply their technical expertise to effectively troubleshoot and resolve application issues.

The position will have on-call component in a rotating with other developers.

The candidate should be highly motivated, have the ability to multi-task and think creatively in resolving production issues
