Senior SAP Developer (ABAP/JAVA)
Term: June 1, 2012 to December 15, 2012
Number of Days Effort: 135 days
Hours of Work: On site, full-time, continuous contract, 7.5 hour day, five (5) days / week.
Purpose:
Provide SAP PI developer to assist with PI implementation for Phase 3 of the eRecruiting solution. This technology will connect the hiring process from eRecruiting with the employee hire/internal movement in SAP HR.
Terms of Reference:
.Design and implement the required PI interfaces to support the City's E-Recruitment solution.
.Creation of integration architecture, governance, quality assurance and approval of development process
.Taking a lead role in maintaining and enforcing PI naming, coding and development standards. Providing architecture and design consulting for PI interface development projects across multiple implementations.
.Follow SAP Best Practices in the implementation and execution of PI interfaces.
.Complete all deliverables for the creation of PI interfaces based on provided requirements.
.Work with project team to ensure established deliverables and milestones are met within established timelines.
.Deliver solution documentation and support and participate in the creation of technical documentation.
.Provide knowledge transfer to City resources, as required.
Qualifications:
.Minimum of four (4) years of hands on technical experience with SAP PI, including SLD design. PI 7.1 experience is desirable. At least 2 end to end PI implementations.
.Minimum of four (4) years experience in developing SAP PI interfaces and message mappings between various applications and backend SAP systems
.Minimum of four (4) years hands on experience in the adapters like XI, IDOC, JDBC, SOAP, HTTP, JMS, RFC, FILE/FTP
.Proven experience in SAP PI performance and availability monitoring.
.Ability to develop complex integration interfaces using BPM, web service, advanced adapter engine.
.Strong fundamental on SAP SOA and ESR concepts and how to apply them to integration design.
.Extensive experience in ABAP OO programming, BAPI, proxy and IDOC development.
.Previous SAP ERP configuration experience, particularly in HR and ERecruiting would be considered an asset.
.Solid background on SAP java programming using CE 7.1.
