Responsibilities:

The Vehicle Management development team is responsible for business applications ranging from buying, maintaining and selling over 1,000,000 vehicles.  Flexible work arrangements are available along with the opportunity to work on various Vehicle Management business applications.  The Software Engineer will be part of a project team which is responsible for all phases of an agile-like software development lifecycle (SDLC).  Mentor less experienced Associate Software Engineers.

• Develop prototypes and performs application coding and programming
• Interpret end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify technical design specifications for off-the-shelf and/or custom-developed applications
• Analyze and reviews software requirements to determine feasibility of a design within time and cost restraints
• Perform unit and integration testing and assists with developing unit test scripts

Qualifications:

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
• 2 + years of Java & J2EE
• 1+ years of Oracle database environment
• Experience with the configuration and setup of J2EE application servers
• Solid knowledge of Unix operating systems
• Experience with Weblogic Server, Hibernate, WebServices, and exposure to AOP and exposure to SOA is preferred

Additional Skills and Competencies:

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications software
• Good communication skills to effectively communicate with various IT teams
