Clinical Analyst (closed)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform system analysis of complex clinical applications
- Perform clinical workflow analysis studies
- Develop requirement specifications
- Develop swimlane charts
- Conduct functional testing
- Create training material and provide training to end users (especially clinicians)
- Conduct and/or participate in design reviews as required
- Other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare related field (e.g. Nursing, Pharmacy, Informatics), Business or related field, or equivalent work experience; Masters degree preferred
- Proven knowledge of healthcare systems and applications
- Five to seven years related work experience in Healthcare/Clinical Informatics
- Hands on experience with clinical applications
- Working knowledge of Cerner, McKesson Star & Horizon, Siemens, IDX, Epic, QuadraMed Affinity and/or other healthcare software are desired
- HL7 and CCOW experience are highly desirable
