Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform system analysis of complex clinical applications
• Perform clinical workflow analysis studies
• Develop requirement specifications
• Develop swimlane charts
• Conduct functional testing
• Create training material and provide training to end users (especially clinicians)
• Conduct and/or participate in design reviews as required
• Other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned

Qualifications:      

• Bachelors degree in Healthcare related field (e.g. Nursing, Pharmacy, Informatics), Business or related field, or equivalent work experience; Masters degree preferred
• Proven knowledge of healthcare systems and applications
• Five to seven years related work experience in Healthcare/Clinical Informatics
• Hands on experience with clinical applications
• Working knowledge of Cerner, McKesson Star & Horizon, Siemens, IDX, Epic, QuadraMed Affinity and/or other healthcare software are desired
• HL7 and CCOW experience are highly desirable
