Job Description:

-Provides support to the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and System Safety (RAMS) Program for passenger rail cars being designed and manufactured for various Transit Authorities.
-Prepares and maintains Fires Safety Analysis, Safety Hazard Analysis, Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis, Reliability Predictions, Maintainability Analysis and other documentation as required by the customer.
-Has solid understanding of Military Standards and Technical Specifications.
-Interfaces with the customers, suppliers and team members to discuss technical issues in order to achieve a mutual agreement.

Job Specifications:

-Must have a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Engineering, with a minimum of three (3) years experience in Engineering or related field.

-Must demonstrate extensive technical expertise and application of RAMS principles, concepts, theories and practices.
-Must be able to organize, plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate workloads to meet established deadlines.
-Must be able to understand and execute new concepts.
-Must have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and computer skills.
-Must be capable of working in both an office and field environment.
