Our client, a government owned enterprise supplying the primary base load of energy to QLD is seeking a Technical Services Manager to guide and further improve one of the largest power stations in the Sunshine State. With major changes occurring in result of a recent amalgamation, the opportunity to influence change is now. 

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the management for all Head of Departments including, Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, Projects and Environmental. Your challenge will be to improve functionality and efficiencies in the productivity and maintenance of the Coal-Fired Power Station. 

To be successful you will have proven success in decreasing plant failures/shutdowns coupled with a relevant Engineering Degree (preferably Electrical or Mechanical). You will need effective communication skills to lead senior level teams, work constructively with colleagues and the corporate Operations Portfolio Group – your experience in change manage will be well received.
