About the Company
Our client is a wholly Australian-owned manufacturer of a comprehensive range of high-quality commercial furniture suited to a variety of applications - commercial offices, education faculties, hospitality establishments, healthcare facilities and residential developments. Led by an experienced, dynamic General Manager, the business is embarking on an exciting growth path, which has created an exciting opportunity for an additional person to be added to the sales team in Brisbane.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work as key team member from an established office and showroom in the fringe of Brisbane's CBD. While you will inherit some clients, this role is very much about identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. In particular, your brief will be to grow business in major regional centres in North and Central Queensland, so the role will require regular travel to Mackay, Townsville, Cairns and the like. Your target market is commercial builders and fitout companies, together with corporate and public sector end-users. Opportunity also exists to create a dealer network in regional Queensland. Support will be provided by Estimators and Project Co-ordinators, together with administrative staff, and you will enjoy the control that goes hand-in-hand with working for a local manufacturer.

About You
You can demonstrate a track record of high sales performance in the commercial property/construction sector, and experience in selling office furniture and/or fitouts will be particularly highly-regarded. You are a results-oriented individual who enjoys being held accountable for your performance, who is seeking the support necessary to deliver results, and who expects the financial reward that should accompany success.
