My client is a global 3PL organisation currently working to deliver a new contract win within engineering / heavy machinery manufacturing / supply chain. Providing logistics services support this organization has excellent well established career development and progression.

Within this position, you will liaise closely with a variety of stakeholders including several divisions within the client, as well as the supplier base. Continually looking for areas of improvement within the materials management and supply chain/logistics activities is key to improving the contract performance over their predecessor.

Your responsibilities will include:-

Experience of process and material management.

Customer service focus within the contract.

Experience working with components, ideally engineering or diesel related would be beneficial but not essential.

MS Office skills vital

Knowledge of stock control, inventory and related systems would be advantageous to your application. Ideally you will have knowledge from the engineering or heavy machinery sectors.
