Full-time Commissioning Manager with solid management/leadership skills to lead the commissioning process including schedule, team, and budget, interfacing heavily with staff, management and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare commissioning budgets in conjunction with estimators.
• Define commissioning requirements for projects including the review/development of commissioning specifications and testing requirements.
• Verify site installations conform to contract documents and coordinate start-up of equipment/systems.
• Full documentation of commissioning deliverables for each project.
• Provide technical support to Clients as part of the project delivery.
• Manage project profitability.
• Oversee new commissioning, re-commissioning and retro-commissioning projects.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Mechanical engineering.
• State licensure in Professional Engineering.
• Professional certificate in commissioning (CxA or equal) from nationally recognized organization limited to AABC, AEE, BCA, or NEBB.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in commercial, industrial and/or institutional construction with an emphasis on management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Control System Design, Mechanical & Electrical systems, electrical equipment.
• Thorough understanding of LEED Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning requirements.
• Project management experience (planning and managing resources to achieve project objectives).
• Strong organizational, time management, decision making, and analytical skills.
• Experience communicating technical material to a non-technical audience both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations).
• Strong computer, MS Word, Excel, technical writing, risk management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• LEED AP designation a plus.
• Marketing experience a plus.
