Our client is a market leading B2C retail products company, and they currently have an opportunity for a junior Product Manager to join the business in Manchester.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for developing new products from brain storming and initial ideas through to the production and launch of the finished product. Your role will involve market and competitor research, managing the existing product range by continually identifying and implementing product improvements, repackaging, and cost savings. You will be briefing and managing creative agencies and freelance designers for product design and packaging.

You will be a creative individual with a good level of experience of consumer product management and / or buying buying for retail. You will need good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong literacy skills for writing copy, editing and proof reading. A real interest and or hobby in arts and crafts would be beneficial.
