The Director of Total Rewards/Compensation and Benefits will lead a team of 2 in directing the strategic planning, implementation, maintenance, design, regulatory compliance, and administration of all corporate-wide compensation and benefit programs consistent with the organization’s human capital objectives. This person is also responsible for ensuring that the systems and procedures supporting these programs are appropriate for the organization’s needs. Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience in a Human Resources role, at least 5 of which are in Compensation
- In depth knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and compliance around Compensation & Benefits
- Expertise in leading the design, development, implementation, and administration of all types of compensation and benefits programs (executive, academic , and all other employees)
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and management skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Human Resources; either advanced degree or certification is highly desired
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
- Understanding of international benefits structures
- The ability to influence, lead change and role model positive behaviors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation; sense of urgency
- Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
