Seeking a Business Analyst to work closely with team members at a global manufacturing company to deliver business system solutions to support daily operations and business intelligence reporting requirements. Monitor daily ERP support and development requests. Work and managed services staff to efficiently and effectively resolve support issues. Communication support and project status organization. Work with IT Director on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Nature and Scope:
The position requires concentrated and exacting attention to detail, the ability to use judgment and experience in product design and a reasonable degree of initiative.
 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
 Hands on experience / Development tool knowledge (SQL, Crystal Reports, other query writing tools)
 Windows server environment experience, Citrix and general database knowledge
 Serve as a liaison between ERP team and third party ERP Software Support.
 Work closely with third party managed services technical staff to resolve application errors.
 Develop and create ad-hoc queries, dashboards and reports within the ERP application as requested by management and users.
 Provide daily user support access for Epicor Applications.
 Provide support to users after system Go Live" and troubleshoot problems on a continuing basis.
 Coordinate hosted environment changes with the ERP vendor and communicate changes to the users.
 Research, configure, test, & implement additional modules as required.
 Create, maintain, and deliver training documentation.
 Epicor Applications Modules (Experience in any of these areas is preferred):
o Modules to support: Quoting and Order Entry, Engineering, Job Management, Service Center, MRP, and Scheduling , Purchasing, Inventory, Financials (AP, AR, GL, etc.)
 Attend training provided by software supplier; use that knowledge to train new users within CPI.
 Continue to streamline and standardize implemented ERP processes where possible
 Use training manuals, help programs, and input from software consultants as needed.
 Customize software interface using changes requested by users, but without modifying base code.
 Advise management on status of installations and processes, and advise them when changes are recommended.
 Assist in setup and maintain ERP user security based on users functional area within the business.
 
Accountability:
Reports to the Director of IT. 
Works closely with the Implementation team and Project Manager.

 Knowledge of MS Office Applications, MRP,  and Epicor, 
 Possess good communication skills, written and verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.  
 Demonstrated experience in streamlining business processes and understanding process flows.
 Epicor Applications Experience preferred
