Responsible for the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, access, and backup for enterprise wide Microsoft Windows Terminal Server and Citrix service offerings. Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, network, system security, hardware and other software applications.

Responsibilities
•Participate in 5x8 business-hours on-call support rotation and shared weekend on-call activity.
•Analyze and troubleshoot system issues and resolve or recommend solutions.
•Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures.
•Support operational processes for new user requests, business use cases, new and/or updated applications.
•Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software and upgrades.
•Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot systems end-to-end (Provisioning, server, network, client and application layers)
Skills and Experience
•Must possess solid knowledge of Windows 2003, 2008 and 2008 R2 operating systems
•Must possess solid knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (LAN and WAN)
•Must be experienced in the following Citrix and Windows Client Virtualization technologies;
--Microsoft RDS / RDP / WTS
--Microsoft Session Broker, RRDNS
--Citrix XenApp 4.5,5.0 and 6.5
--Netscaler hardware appliances
--Citrix Provisioning (Primarily Boot ISO's, plus PXE/DHCP)
--Citrix Access Gateway (Knowledge configuring and securing connections)
•Must be experienced in supporting varied client technologies such as HP Thin Clients (WinCE, Linux), Desktops, Notebooks and mobile devices (tablets, phones)
•Must be experienced in supporting a secured delivery environment for external connectivity
•Must be experienced in supporting virtualized applications. Microsoft AppV and/or Citrix profiling is preferred
•Must be experienced with application support in multi-tenancy environments.
•Prefer experience with XenDesktop 5.6, delivering VDI technologies
7 plus years of experience functioning in a Systems Administrator capacity is required
