SLAIT Consulting is currently seeking a Web Development Project Manager / Business Analyst to participate in projects within our client's web services team. The position will report to Technical Manager of Enterprise Architecture and Web Services and work with architects, developers, other business analysts and stakeholders from IT, HR, Marketing and Clinical services.

This is a full time, contract position beginning May 15th through December 31, 2012 with an option to hire. Staff will work onsite in Chesapeake, Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Responsibilities

Project Management
*  Create initial project documents including proposals, project charters and statements of work
*  Create and manage project documentation including requirements, work plans, resource plans, timelines and deliverables
*  Coordinate project tasks, manage resources, manage risks, issues and changes
Business Analysis
*  Collect business requirements; translate business requirements to functional requirements
*  Work with software architects to translate functional requirements to technical requirements
*  Coordinate and/or develop test plans and test scripts
*  Manage user acceptance testing
*  Release planning including coordinating releases, user communications, coordination of training, change management

Qualifications
*  Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required
*  4+ years of project management in a web application software environment (B2B required, additional B2C strongly desired)
*  4+ years of business analysis in a web application software environment (B2B required, additional B2C strongly desired)
*  Experience with web content management and web application projects including internet, portal, and line of business applications
*  Experience in projects concerning all phases of web design, development, validation and testing, deployment and support
*  Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment
*  Possession of excellent customer presence and presentation skills
*  Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
*  Possession of excellent leadership, analysis, problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
