NATURE & SCOPE: The Designer is responsible for generating and updating drawings of rotating equipment utilizing UG 3D modeling software.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: AAS Degree required, BS Degree preferred. 1+ year of related design experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Highly proficient 3D solid modeling experience (UG preferred, but Solidworks, Inventor, Pro_E acceptable). Experience in design of rotating equipment, piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, for successful interaction/collaboration across multiple departments, with a broad range of personnel. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, and organizational skills. Meticulous and detail-oriented. Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple responsibilities, projects, duties, and deadlines simultaneously.

SPECS & DETAILS: Contract Hire (indefinite commitment on length of assignment). $22 - $32/hour, depending on experience. 1st-shift. Buffalo, NY location.
