Lead key marketing strategy and analytics projects with cross-functional teams

Provide overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions across marketing (Brand, product development, loyalty programs, online/offline advertising, e-commerce/website)

Analyze external and internal customer data using databases queries (SQL, Access), spreadsheet (Excel) models, statistical analysis tools (SPSS, SAS), web analytic tools (Omniture) and campaign management software tools

Conduct market research, using external research firms where appropriate, to generate insights that support demand generation

Create executive-level PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other Marketing & Sales departments

Develop future vision for customer segmentation/insight analytic

Provide expertise to other M&S departments on available market data that can be used in support of their business decisions

Synthesize analysis results, develop recommendations and communicate recommendations to other M&S departments
Requirements:
-
4-year college degree, relevant certifications and professional training programs; MBA preferred
-
Over five years of professional experience, with over two years as a manager in the specific industry / functional area; Management consulting experience preferred

Experience in project management
-
Experience with CRM solutions

In-depth knowledge of advanced marketing principles, concepts and techniques including marketing analysis and research tools.

Ability to independently evaluate marketing data and communicate and/or present recommendations.

Experience conducting and synthesizing qualitative market research

Experience working with large sets of quantitative research data
-
Mastery of the following analytical tools: modeling and reporting in Excel / Access (including macros), statistical analysis (SAS or SPSS), SQL query language.
