Our Client, Major Japanese bank seeks an assistant to Relationship Manager to offer analystical support on exeisting portfolio.  Job details are as follows.

TITLE:  Analyst/Associate (up to AVP Level)

SALARY:  up to 85k, Commensurate with Experience

DESCRIPTION: 

This position will be as analytical support to current Relationship Manager, to support an existing portfolio of Transportation, Waste Management and Engineering & Construction accounts and for new business development.  The position will start with analytical coverage of approximately 12 accounts and build up to 16 to 18 accounts which are the maximum levels that current analysts have handled in the past. Responsibilities are as follows: prepare credit analysis for loan applications and reviews under the direction of the relationship manager; prepare industry and peer analysis; attend customer calls and bank meetings with relationship manager as necessary; prepare other reports such as self-assessment reports and any other reports required by the relationship manager and group head.

EXPERIENCE: 

3-6 years of work experience in credit analysis for middle market to large corporates.  Bachelors’ Degree preferably in finance, business or economics.  MBA preferred.

SKILLS: 

Proficient in WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT.  Ability to communicate and write clearly.  Strong interpersonal skills as client contact will be required.
Working overtime as necessary on a periodic basis.  Occasional travel.
