 QA Analyst
 
  
 
Scope of Work/Description:
 As a QA Analyst, you will leverage your technical abilities to work on multiple projects.  You will be responsible for manual and automated testing for such project areas as ServiceNow, a Quality Center Upgrade to V11, Hyperion, Windows 7, etc.  This person will be based at the Cenovus South office location.

 Years Experience/Where Used/Etc.
 
 
 
 
6 years + testing experience
 
 
Experience with automation/performance and test management tools (preference for QTP, QC, Loadrunner)
 
 
A programming background in such areas as VB, Java, C++
 
 
Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues
 
 
Proven ability to design detailed test cases
 
 
Experience writing Test Strategies and Test Plans
 
 
Solid understanding of data modeling and flowcharts
 
 
Solid understanding of schemas, data structures and mappings
 
 
Proficiency with SQL Navigator/Toad as well an ability to construct complex SQL statements (table joins, multiple clauses, etc.)
 
 
Understanding and ability to apply technical and business requirements to test case development
 
 
Proficiency with MS Excel
 
 
Some of the nice-to-have experience includes performance workload modeling as well as integration testing and security software testing
