Job Description
Scope of Work/Description:

 In this role, you will work as a Project Manager on any number of projects related to such areas as upstream, infrastructure and business intelligence.
 
This Project Manager will:
·        plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget (this includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan)
·        define the project?s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle
·        manage expectations of stakeholders and constantly monitor, report, and communicate on progress of the project
·        implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs and stakeholder buy-in 
·        employ financial management best practices to manage their project budget
·        fully engage the Supplier in the planning and execution of the project ensuring they are active members of the project team
 
 
 
 
 
 
Skills and Qualifications

10+ years of Project Management experience
 
 
Solid experience with project charters, project plans, etc.
 
 
Strong project fiscal discipline and a proven track record of client project delivery
 
 
Experience managing projects in such areas as infrastructure (network/switching and storage); business intelligence (Business Objects); upstream applications
 
 
A proven track record of working with staff at all levels within an organization
 
 
Formal training and/or Project Management designation
 
 
Proven ability to successfully execute and navigate within an organization that is undergoing changes at different levels
 
 
Formal training and/or IT related education
 
 
Proven ability to effectively motivate and leverage the skills and competencies of individuals
 
 
Solid planning, organizing and decision-making skills
 
 
Excellent communication skills
 
 
Solid critical thinking and problem solving skills
 
 
Proven ability to work within a team environment
 
 
Strong negotiation, conflict management and delegation skills
