RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Responsible for auditing medical records to ensure accurate documentation, coding and capture of information
*Education of physicians and office staff on improved coding
*Development of tools to improve physician coding accuracy
*Travel to physician offices to audit medical records and provide on-site education
*Meet quality and productivity standards for medical record audits

SKILLS REQUIRED:
*Experience in RAF coding and HCC and RADV audits a must
*Current Certified professional Coder (either by AHIMA or AAPC
*Minimum 2 years experience diagnosis coding for physicians and hospitals
*Strong presentation skills
*Expert knowledge of physician diagnosis documentation coding
