We are looking for 3 estimators immediately for this Canadian oil and gas owner/operator. Join one of the original owners/operators to develop projects within Alberta’s oil sands. They are headquartered in Canada but have operations outside of Canada as well. They have a strong reputation for making things happen in the industry. They have years of financial and operational success and are continuing to expand.

We are seeking Intermediate and Senior Estimators for their Calgary office. You will have the opportunity to estimate on new projects and sustaining projects. You will work closely with the EPC estimators on all disciplines. You will work closely with the estimating team and participate in the development of the team. You will be responsible for the roll up of discipline estimates into the overall estimate. You will report directly to the Estimating Manager.

To be successful in this role, you need at least 5 years of industrial estimating experience – preferably in heavy industrial construction. Prior experience in fabrication and multi-discipline construction are preferred. You must have strong knowledge of estimating programs and good interpersonal skills. You must be a self starter and be able to work under minimal supervision. You must also be able to provide mentorship to junior estimators on the team. Preference will be given to candidates with an engineering degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.  Owner/operator experience preferred but we will consider EPC and contractor experience.
