My Market leading client is looking for a talented .Net developer to join their Glasgow based team. They work with some large, prestigious clients offering varying and exciting projects to become a part of.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Essential
• Minimum 5 years ASP.NET development in C#, SQL Server
• Strong OO design skills and familiarity with design patterns
• A keenness to learn new tools, techniques and frameworks
• You are not expected to be a CSS expert but you must be experienced in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front-end techniques using libraries such as jQuery
• Understanding of design considerations affecting complex, high traffic web applications
• A great enthusiasm for LINQ
• Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to explain your ideas to others
• Willingness to lead a small team when necessary

Advantageous
• Experience of working with Alterian, Tridion, EPiServer, or Umbraco content management systems
• Mobile development
• HTML5
• ASP.NET MVC3
• Continuous Integration (especially TeamCity)

Candidates must be comfortable acting in a consultancy role. You need good communication skills and a desire to work closely with customers.
