Operational Risk Manager – London - £45,559 - £55,555

Exciting new opportunity within the Global Finance department for a booming investment bank for an Operational Risk Manager. This is working in a relatively new team which means the chances for progression and new opportunities are endless. 

This role is responsible for developing and rolling out the operational framework globally, covering, Latin and North America, Europe and the Middle East. This involves helping to co ordinate this against global finance and looking after general control, financial control and audit, internally and externally. You will work with various stakeholders and ensure that remediation actions are implemented in an appropriate fashion. 

My client is looking for experienced Operational Risk professionals from a finance environment, ideally banking. You will be comfortable in areas such as audit and financial and general control and have experience rolling out an operational risk framework. You will also be confident using Excel in order to consolidate operational risk management information for reporting measures. Qualifications – numerical degree. It would be advantageous to be a qualified accountant within banking but not essential.
