Our client, located in East Ottawa, is currently seeking a full-time self motivated individual that is looking for an exciting career in jewellery. Experience as a jeweler is not required, however those with high end retail experience would be considered an asset.

Job Description

Professional Sales Associates work in all aspects of jewellery retail. Duties include:
• direct sales to the clients
• using marketing tools to include a new Edge computer system to work on sale potentials
• helping clients with sophistication and finesse
• taking true interest in the customer’s needs
• learning the jewellery trade, including professional gemological programs with the A.G.S. and G.I.A.
• keeping up paperwork, doing invoices properly
• helping with store upkeep, cleaning jewellery, do displays in store

Requirements

Must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to assess the needs of potential customers Must be very professional Must be available to work 40 hours a week, various shifts which include evenings and weekends.
