Title:  Microstation Consultant

Location: Denver or Minnesota

Position Type: Contract

Duration: 1 year +

Description:

This person will be involved at every stage of the lifecycle from putting together documentation through completion of the project (so not only new development). 

Required:

·         Experience in development and customization in Computer Aided Design platforms (Microstation and AutoCAD) using Java, C++, C# and Visual Basic.

·         Experience with ObjectARX programming interface and libraries for AutoCAD (for AutoCAD developer).

·         Experience with MDL/ JMDL for Microstation development (for Microstation Developer).

·         Experience on Object Oriented development and design patterns.

·         Experience in Relational Databases (MSSQL and Oracle).

·         Experience in optimizing and fine tuning application code for high availability and scalability.

·         8-10+ years of experience in application development.

Preferred:

•         Experience in Web Service development and WSDL design.

•         Experience translating data using FME.

•         Experience with GIS. 

•         Experience in the Utility industry.
