Position: Senior Java/J2EE Software Engineer - Cloud Computing

Location: Newton, MA

Term: 3-6 month Contract

Our client is a small software company who was an early adopter of cloud technology for their backend. They are beginning the process of re-building their entire server architecture and are need to hire a Senior Developer who can help lead the project.

To be a fit for the position you will have:

-Strong Java/J2EE server development skills.

-Extensive web services experience or have built backends to run in the cloud. EC2 experience is idea, as is S3, SNS, SQS and REST web services.

-The ability to architect, design and build servers designed for high availability in a globally distributed environment.
