Cognos Administrator

We are currently seeking a Cognos Administrator for our Application Management to support our Business Intelligence Reporting Infrastructure.

This Cognos Admin will be the SME in all things related to our Cognos Reporting team and also serve as the highest level of Application Support to all Cognos Developers.  They will be part of an Application Management team within our Technology Services Division.  Some of the tools they’ll be using are Cognos Report Studio, Cognos Framework Manager and Cognos Transformer. 

Top 3-5 must have skills:

• Demonstrated Experience as a Cognos Administrator in an Enterprise IBM environment
• Demonstrated Experience with Cognos Report Studio, Cognos Framework Manager, and Cognos Transformer
• Experience Unix Scripting
• Demonstrated experience working with Linux Redhat or Unix AIX
• SDLC/ADLC Methodologies
• Experience analyzing data solving problems and troubleshooting to provide solutions

Highly Desirable:

• Other BI Reporting Tool Experience
• Relational Database Concepts and Schema using SQL or Oracle

• ILOG Rules Engine
